It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

I found Sean very engaging, and a modest man who tried to bring out his interviewees for the listeners' benefit rather than it being more about him. Last year I too was pushed rudely out of a job I had intended to leave with dignity and on my own terms a bit later. It has turned out to be a blessing in disguise, and I can only hope that Sean's well earned leisure is treating him similarly.

It’s now late Feb and no sign of PT ..
What is going on ?
In Tune had Sarah Walker last week, Martin Handley this week, then Katy D back for a bit, Sarah Walker 7-9th March, then Ian Skelly 10-14 March (if the pictures are to be believed). 15th March onwards... my money's on Basil Brush.
No sign of Squire T, who's Breakfasting till March 14th, at least. Squatter's rights?

To lose one In Tune presenter may be regarded as a misfortune, to lose two looks like carelessness.
P.S. I'm hoping Martin Handley will become a/the regular In Tuner.

Thanks I see . It’s April then . The new financial year. And Breakfast moving to Salford - a big relocation and not everyone will wish to go. Having done the South West to North West epic voyage a few times I don’t blame PT for not giving it a try . Just getting to Salford from Manchester airport is a nightmare.
