    I heard an extract of this on Breakfast this morning just after the news. It sounded as though it was performed with much smaller forces than the JEG recording which I own. Am I correct in that? Was this a choice based on historical evidence?

      Goodness! You’ve dug out an old thread. As it happens, yesterday was also Saturday 9th, I couldn’t work out why it was not on the playlist.

        Thank you Doversoul. Yes I searched for the work on the Forum, and thought using this thread an economical solution for my enquiry: sorry for the date confusion, which I hadn't noticed.

        Pluhar does choose a single voice for each line: it's the first time I've heard this version.
