No, I really don't know what 'very well modulated voices' means here.

For a start, not monotonous. Cadenced?

If PT's presentation is as gasp-laden and gap-filled as has been claimed, can it really be described as monotonous?
      (HTH = ?)

Jovial for 'Hope This Helps' - especially when one has little hope that it does Gasp-laden and gap-filled would probably also rule it out as 'well-modulated', which would be more controlled (horrors!).

I’m happy to defer to others, well, “happy”might be overstating it, but for me it’s “Orld-bruh”, not “All-de-bruh”. But am I being harsh on Elizabeth Al-kerrr?

There are IMVHO two essential differences between Petroc Trelawny and Tom Service.
Firstly, PT definitely has a welcome air of self-deprecation about him - something that could never be said about TS.
Secondly, I can always understand what PT says - again, something that, at least in my case, certainly could not be said of TS.
I particularly liked the way PT responded to the listener who pointed out that clouds don't burn back, but evaporate.
I never listen to 'In Tune' (it's 'Pointless' mfollowed by the 6.00 news on Radio 4 chez nous), but I do rate Sean Rafferty highly.
...and Alexander Armstrong speaks very clearly and well, even if his diatribe with Richard often goes on a bit too long as they share their private, not very funny, jokes - oh! and Xander’s singing, not, thankfully on the programme, is technically and tunefully OK and he chooses some good songs, but at times sounds a little wooden!

I honestly don't know how anyone can say that! Dishonest, unctuous, self-serving, cliché-ridden blather IMO
I keep hitting the Escape key, but I'm still here!

                Oooooh, I SAY!

I think several R3 presenters are competent broadcasters, technically; I also think R3 needs presenters who have a good deal more than that. Their shallow knowledge, particularly of classical music, is painful to a more knowledgeable audience.

...and probably making a decent living out of it - why let a few bleeding chunks and silly fills get in the way. Does anyone listen? A board poll on how many of us actually tune in nowadays would be interesting. Well just a little!

I still have that nasty old-fashioned habit of writing in sentences.
