The problem is that TftD almost always has a deist bias. The British Humanist Society has been banging on about this imbalance for decades.

A fair point, but just as I do not consider the EU anything like perfect, yet think it a major mistake to be giving the big three* free range by leaving it, so I find TftD worthwhile despite feeling it would be greatly improved by it having contributions fro Humanists and other non-deists.

I want to approve wholeheartedly of Georgia Mann, who I think has almost cracked it. I just wish she was less arch. Obviously as one among many listeners I’m entitled to a bespoke Breakfast, as are we all. ;)

I do like Petroc Trelawney and Georgia Mann. Not too bad either of them.

Boiled, fried or scrambled, or even poached?

Eggs à la Spaniel - as my mum used to call the Spanish-type dish!

Sounds like a really good dog’s breakfast!

If the former would stop gasping and punctuate his speech, I might start to like him.

Sorry - are there TWO Petroc Trelawneys? Or does my radio cleverly eliminate gasps and add punctuation?

I too find the lack of punctuation(or intelligent reading) tiresome, especially when it makes a nonsense of the information being conveyed, as has happened.

Surely, there is not even one Petroc Trelawney who presents Breakfast on Radio 3?

                                Anyway, De introducibus non disputandum.
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.
