You need to fit AA into your busy schedule Rumpole .......
I should, I should....
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."
... Monday and Tuesday, I see! Am departing mid-week for a French jaunt, so may have to download them for the road...

It seems pretty clear that CBH's presence on Breakfast has been substantially reduced. Originally she appeared to be SM-P's replacement in alternating with PT (two weeks on, two weeks off or thereabouts). Now PT appears to be the sole usual weekday presenter, with his hols and days away being shared between CBH, IS and one or two others.

I was on a less glamorous road trip this morning, and managed to stay tuned in to Breakfast from 7 to 9, which is about a five year high, I would guess.
Hope Skellers keeps you whistling all the way to the Ravel Museum......

I'm surprised to hear you say that about the very experienced and excellent John Shea, and wonder what prompted you to do so.
Ah, perhaps the newsreader in question was the lady who took over later on in the morning. I usually try to ignore the news, and I was crossing Sussex ( east and west) behind a succession of slow moving lorries, so prolly a bit distracted .I'm certainly not referring to JS , so apologies for the error. )

I sometimes dream about a Radio 3 travel bulletin warning of congestion caused by a slow-moving Karajan.

Caught the end of the programme live, and enjoyed the slightly cheeky subversion of 'tweet your requests &c &c' when in relation to Valentine's Day, IS invited "suggestions... musical of course"...
