Let's just say it's a distinct probability. What's The Archers?

That said I've warmed to Pet Rock quite a bit. It's the posh accent.
"Gone Chopin, Bach in a minuet."

I get the impression the scriptwriters are working towards the demise of The Archers - selling Brookfield to Brian Aldridge and Tony seriously injured.

            ??

The same thought occurred to me Alps - the storylines recently have been a little wayward and taking on the mantle of some of the TV soaps. Either The Archers will end or the road will be cancelled, Ruth's mum will die and Brookfield will continue as before.
What's all this got to do with Breakfast - well Elizabeth is going to have a classical music festival and Petroc will be presenting.

Yes, those are are the most probable outcomes.

Probably not a good idea for the 'Freed Cornish One'.

anyone remember the late Jack de Manio's attempts to tell the time on the Today programme ?

along the lines of "it's seventeen minutes past seven ........ sorry ... eight .... no, seven ....... seventeen minutes to eight ..... past ... oh I don't know ..."

"54 minutes past 6" is the new "It's six minutes to 7" ...

                          Happy Christmas

Or may she has a digital watch and isn't very good at converting it? But it may just be laziness.

There's a clock on the studio wall, shurely?

Anyway, all is forgiven as the show finishes with the sublime Bill Evans.

Not sure what sort of face the Breakfast clock has but one with Arabic numeric display was installed in the Today studio during the de Manio years. It did not resolve the problem.

Mr. Grew is unlikely to concur.
