I'm afraid I didn't know the "facts". I'm clearly not such a devoted Breakfast listener as you are.

Wife had remarked to husband that she thought CB-H was chosen because she sounded right for Classic FM.
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

That's disingenuous (as well as being snarky-sarky). You are a regular enough visitor to this board and, from your comments, know enough about the programme, to know who the regular hosts are, and aren't.

True though with all this chopping and changing you don't know who's regular and who ain't anymore.

It'll be summer holidays nonsense next ... any excuse not to get up at 4 o'clock in't morning!

There seems to a great deal of twittering about Breakfast today, in view of CB-H's return.

This just plays into the hands of the Radio bosses who think having a glamorous presenter on the RADIO is somehow important.

Quoi?! I do not tweet (people keep inviting me to join Twitter for some reason: I resist). Most of the tweets seemed to be R3 and CB-H, didn't they?

Indeed. I used "twittering" in its traditional sense rather than the current "tweeting".
