If I were resident in one of the most musical nations on earth, I don't think a hyped radio presenter in the UK would even be on my radar.

Why are we discussing someone who isn't even there at the moment?

I agree with Eine Alpensinfonie. Not on my radar screen for now.

I simply thought people would like to hear John Eliot Gardiner talking about Bach. But I guess we pretty much know what he thinks already

Radio 64 - if you are keen to see Clemmy she was on Celebrity Pointless BBC1 on Sunday - you can catch this on iPlayer should you wish to do so!

People may indeed be interested in this, in which case the appropriate time would be a programme designed for this kind of thing.

Cheers again although iPlayer telly is sadly unavailable outside the UK ..

What do you mean by this?

John Eliot's (fascinating and surprisingly charismatically expressed) views on JSB have already had a great deal of exposure on the BBC of late, so I'm not sure what an interview with CBH adds, but this was part of the BBC's collaboration with Hay, so I don't see what the problem is with programming or timing.

Programming has become so murky and the listings so vague that the only way to discover what is going on is to have Radio 3 switched on all the time, listening to the adverts/trailers.

Breakfast/Essential Classics/Saturday Classics/In Tune (all the same thing really) are so vague that anyone with a life will only access JEG et al if it's in a more accessible place like the one-time Music Magazine or a programme specifically for JEG.

in this case I suspect the logical non exclusive OR will cover both parties

But this was on none of the above. It's on the BBC website. What's your beef (other than, perhaps, that it was not sufficiently advertised and you only learned about it here?)

Oh, I see. I thought that as it was on the Breakfast thread, it was yet another of those chat interludes. I stand corrected.
