It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

Mind you reading some of the comments here perhaps many would prefer not to have any kind of (human) presenter at all. After all with digital devices you can always "see" what particular piece of music is being broadcast - no need for any irritating human voice. Big savings by the BBC too."Gone Chopin, Bach in a minuet."

There are plenty of other radio stations that discuss the news, the papers, the charts, what is eaten for breakfast, etc etc. No need for this on Radio 3.Pacta sunt servanda !!!

Comment on the R3 Facebook page this morning:
'Ian Skelly's breakfast show insight, "Come back Les Dawson, Italy needs you".
Never a truer word ... . Thank you, My Skelly for illuminating and lightening my morning.' (A listener in Italy)
If correctly reported, THAT is R3, in my opinion. Dull? Are you raving, Radio64?It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

Maybe I gave Skelly short shrift due to my Clemmy-disappointment. Promise to try harder tomorrow."Gone Chopin, Bach in a minuet."

Now the whisperers stand out
Now confronted by the fact.
Bring the branding iron and knife:
What’s done now is done for life.

Looking at the new picture of RC on the website, it looks rather robotic, come to think of it CBH and KDs do too. I beginning to wonder if the Dear Leader has indeed replaced the presenters with androids in the manner of the Stepford Wives to make sure they giggle, tweet and gush at his every command. Has the CBH one been malfunctioning? and is the pregnancy a cover up whilst a replacement is manufactured?
