It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

(Keep trying to switch on for something decent - off again for the third time now... terrible music this morning, it seems to me Choosing punter A's suggested 'Country Gardens' over punter B's suggested 'Le Festin de l'Araignée' says it all really. And then 'Marche Slave' - the 'switch-off' piece to end all 'switch-off' pieces I keep trying, I really do...Last edited by Nick Armstrong; 05-06-13, 07:54."...the isle is full of noises,

Enjoy tomorrows show, Cali.
In fact, I might listen in to see if you have tweeted.*
I suppose even "Readybrek with SMP" better than the rumble of the London traffic, or the honking horns on Boris Bikes.
*Actually, I wont now i think about it.I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

Fortunately I pedal off after the 9 o'clock transition into some sort of adult programming...
The attempts to grapple with Petroc's Sugar Puffs are prompted simply by a desire to have a bit of music around during the morning routine. Switching to a recorded TTN (or this month, the Heffer Saturday afternoon prog) is an easy alternative."...the isle is full of noises,
