Depends what you mean by 'fashion'. I would mistrust it if it has a capital 'F' (except at the beginning of a sentence, of course).
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

No, I personally am not on Facebook or Twitter in any manifestation of myself and think I'll steer clear of them for the moment. I didn't even conduct brass bands when it was 'fashionable' ...

                God I hate Nyman's stuff

(Keep trying to switch on for something decent - off again for the third time now... terrible music this morning, it seems to me Choosing punter A's suggested 'Country Gardens' over punter B's suggested 'Le Festin de l'Araignée' says it all really. And then 'Marche Slave' - the 'switch-off' piece to end all 'switch-off' pieces I keep trying, I really do...

                          Enjoy tomorrows show, Cali.

In fact, I might listen in to see if you have tweeted.*

I suppose even "Readybrek with SMP" better than the rumble of the London traffic, or the honking horns on Boris Bikes.

*Actually, I wont now i think about it.

... the Breakfast Show on Saturday gave us a song from 'South Pacific' and the theme tune to 'Superman'.

I'm enjoying the silence of the mornings here nowadays....

I am afraid like many have keep straying back to Breakfast. The tweets, texts, and call ins are annoying. But for me Uri Cain yesterday was enough. I know many like his style and I don't mind variation and free improvisation but I just cannot get or tolerate his music.

If you did, you'd probably catch up with a few of BBM's chosen titbits!

Fortunately I pedal off after the 9 o'clock transition into some sort of adult programming...

The attempts to grapple with Petroc's Sugar Puffs are prompted simply by a desire to have a bit of music around during the morning routine. Switching to a recorded TTN (or this month, the Heffer Saturday afternoon prog) is an easy alternative.
