I think its rentokil we need, not assassins.
lasted about 25 seconds on Breakfast today. First, the exciting news that 2.36 PM Monday is the peak time of the week for uploading photos to facebook,(why can I remember that and not the important stuff?) and then those bloody wasps.
I used to quite like that piece.Last edited by teamsaint; 04-03-13, 09:37.I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

On Facebook this am from someone not known to me ( but what do I know about who forumites are?):
"I must say that recently it has seemed that the same old lollipops are being trotted out so regularly they are becoming boring! Where has the challenge gone? The ability to hear something new each morning and grow my listening breadth?
And even then the lollipops aren't given life; Bach always on a Steinway - never an instrument he will have heard and composed for. Why not go the whole hog and play it on electric or a Moog?
Come on Radio3 the breakfast diet is becoming more cloying than ClassicFM!"It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

Why is radio 3 going out of its way to promote a commercial organisation like facebook , by giving it little plugs such as SMP did today?
the company I work for would LOVE free publicity of this kind.
Re FF's comments,I guess quite a lot of folk aren't too demanding of their music at 6.45 AM, but suggestions such as "Bach played on appropriate instruments" really wouldn't be too difficult to implement, would they?Last edited by teamsaint; 04-03-13, 10:40.I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. I see from the R3 blog that they do seem to be planning to run through the gamut of genres with the Musical Map, currently (following Choral), we move to Baroque. However the blog is now closed for comments following a list of suggestions which amounted to plugs for local choral societies. It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal.
