It was a rather strange version of the Dvorak - and maybe others will disagree but I thought the Aurora Orchestra’s playing of the finale of Mozart’s Jupiter was rushed and badly played!
I tend to agree with you cloughers but Alkers liked it ........... !!!!!!

I've changed my radio alarm settings so that on Sunday to Friday it wakes me at 8.00 a.m., but at 9.00 a.m. on Saturdays. Much the best way for a contented existence.
Happy St Pirans Day to all from the Duchy. Good to see that Georgia played suitable music for the day.
What was that? Serge Gainsbourg, Le poinçonneur des lilas (Georgia's Classical Picks)?
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.
... google translate doesn't seem to offer Cornish (for shame!) - it offers the following for the Welsh of the refrain -
Rwy'n gwneud tyllau, tyllau bach, mwy o dyllau bach
Tyllau bach, tyllau bach, tyllau bach bob amser
Tyllau ail ddosbarth
Tyllau o'r radd flaenaf
Rwy'n gwneud tyllau, tyllau bach, mwy o dyllau bach
Tyllau bach, tyllau bach, tyllau bach bob amser
Tyllau bach, tyllau bach
Tyllau bach, tyllau bach
The brief news half-hourly summaries have been replaced with several minutes of BBC news format - different readers, and use of our 'xyz correspondent' soundbite slots - at 8am and 1pm - I suspect there is an earlier one but I can't recall hearing it. Is this a permanent change does anyone know? Its timing meant that I thought it was something to do with seasonal holiday arrangements to begin with but now I'm not so sure. It could be argued that this arrangement gives more space for music and in theory that might be the case, except that it just seems to have 'freed up' space to put in more adverts at random times. I used to be able to get ready with the mute button as they were generally linked to the news summary slot, but now the irritations hit any time. I am doubtless in a minority(beyond that of being a R3 listener) in disliking the new set-up, and I know it is a minor thing - but it's another irritation that I don't want. At the moment I haven't worked out how long the news slot is so muting is trial and error. In time perhaps I'll get as accurate as I usually manage to be with the adverts!
Petroc has just said, with evident pleasure, that ‘rumour has it’ that R3’s own newsreaders will be back from Easter.
