      Is this wise???

The high standard of R3 on-air presentation might suffer a bit.
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

Does anyone find themselves increasingly reaching for the the change-channel button or even the off-switch during Breakfast these days, or am I the only one?

I never use the on button before noon nowadays.

Did I mishear it, or did EA2 really introduce a piece by saying “I don’t think it’ll be too much trouble for you Breakfast listeners”?

What was the piece? The Philip Glass which (so I see ) started the programme?

Because Philip G is premiering a new piece in Manchester ( for you southerners a suburb of Salford ) in July .......

Are there not enough reasons to stay away from Manchester already? (I tend to think of it as an outlying suburb of Hadfield.)
