      His accent was affected -
That was to be expected... "

          And I can't forget,
          I can't forget,
          I can't forget.
          But I don't remember what.

Is it possible to forget without remembering that one has forgotten?

I may start a new thread - if I can remember to - next week.

                This really is SO bad!

EA Mk II has no presentational skills whatsoever, and address the listeners as though their average age is four and a half. Then she tells us an irrelevant story about how she got lost on the Malverns and was wearing inappropriate footwear, etc.

If you want to confess stupidity, contact a priest.

"Five simple steps for morning mindfulness: How listening to R3 Breakfast can reduce stress, aid mindfulness and cure morning breath."

I recently sent a FoR3 'submission' to the controller, mainly quoting many pages of forum (and Facebook) comments about the BaL discussion format, but remarking on that R3 website gem.

It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

I thought it was a nice story and wonderfully showed the ditziness and perseverance of youth ..... she was searching for the soul of Elgar - we surely need more young people to do this ......

Unnecessary perhaps, but not irrelevant as it was by way of an introduction to an Elgar song.
I don't particularly like EA's voice or delivery but she's a long way above SK and KD in my less than ideal rankings; I don't think I've yet felt the need to use either the mute or off button during her programmes.

It reminded me more of Julia Bradbury pretending she was struggling on her first Wainwright climb. It was only later that it was revealed that she was an experience walker, going back to her childhood. EA was playing the part of the helpless damsel, and it wasn’t clever.

I hope you enjoyed your big ol’ glass of water Bryn - who the hell, talks like that?

Maybe a little Handel to accompany it!
