At least EA will never reach the latter’s level of nastiness.

As for the breathlessness, this seems to be a feature of all morning “presenters”, especially PT and IS. RC had the same lurgy. I’ve mentioned this before. Either there’s a dust problem in the studio, or microphone placement is done by work experience students.

I've given this a great deal of thought and I would say it does!

Two points: 1) that we end up focusing on the inadequacies of presenters or 2) we praise presenters who are half way decent as if they compensate for awful programmes - and make them quite possible to listen to. Which for some people, they do
