Enjoyed Hannah French's presentation on weekdays this week.

All that this line of discussion shows is that people have their likes and dislikes when it comes to presenters. One man's meat …It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

I recently listened to some of Alker's late night show 'Unclassified'. I thought that she presented the show very well - none of the
rather unnatural 'Listen with Mother' style which she uses on the Breakfast programme. I think that is largely due to her being more
comfortable with the music played on the late night show - it is 'her' music and programme.
I suspect that for the Breakfast show she is just given a playlist and an outline script - I doubt that she could care less about much of the
music played. And surely the presenting style she adopts for Breakfast is forced upon her by the programme makers.

What do you do if employed by such an organisation as the BBC? Say "I really think it would be more appropriate to have someone more suited to presenting Breakfast than me"?
