Antony Hopkins CBE (21 March 1921 – 6 May 2014)
Just honoured on Breakfast with the broadcast of three pieces of his music*. He was a really important (virtual) part of my musical education as a teenager.

...IIRC birdsong was used as a test transmission prior to the commencement of programmed transmissions on CFM!
