The listenership is divided over whether the presenter is all-important and whether some presenters are 'better' than others and make listening possible. A minority seems to feel that the format doesn't have enough to offer. Personally, I find it hard to understand why an entire 30-minute piece is inappropriate (because who can concentrate properly or has that amount of time to listen) whereas a sequence of four 6-minutes pieces, some 'interrupted' by presenters or by being extracts from longer pieces will fit around what everyone is doing at that time in the morning.

My thumbs up was merely a preference for Martin Handley. The usual Saturday morning incumbent is intolerable. Being patronised, being yelped at and being made to listen to amateur soundscapes and a mixture of muzak is a terrible thing.
