Schedule for last Fri says: William Shakespeare / Sonnett VII / reader Olivia Colman / Performer: Olivia Colman.
    Might it be that?

Zucchini, I think it was earlier than Friday and it was barely a wisp. I'm sure 'Olivia Coleman' would have caught my ear, as I was only half listening - too early for me. Thank you for your reply. I have my sonnets out as a result of Breakfast.

On second thoughts I think you must be right. I'll go with that. I'm off now to read it. Many thanks..

I cannot listen to her Breakfast broadcasts. A few score of posts back, someone put their finger[s] on it - her intonation makes it sound like a programme for children (Blue Peter was referenced, I believe).

Martin Handley is the non pareil for Sundays.

Elizabeth Alkers twitter account pretty much tells you what you need to know.

It was Olivia Colman who read Sonnet VII last Friday. 2 hours 7 minutes in.

Yes, thank you L. I wish I could have heard the reading.

Agreed. On Sunday afternoons we enjoy listening to Aiden Gormley on Lyric fm.

How nice to hear the Adagietto from Mahler's 5th symphony - again! (Other movements from other Mahler symphonies are available, you know!)

Birthday gifts aren't always what one would wish are they?

You try telling that to young poeple today, and they'd never believe you.

Haitink will perhaps have been even less amused by the fact that the second movement (only) of his 'Emperor' with Perahia was played, with a fadeout in the middle of the transition to the finale. The second time I've heard this happen in recent weeks.
