I've always found it bizarre that they get someone separate in to 'do the news' - esp. when it's one of the presenters. Why on earth can't the presenter of the programme read out the silly bite-sized headlines?!Originally posted by AndyJW View Post

Ah yes, that Ian Skelly keeps reappearing as a Great Favourite. And so he should. Music, news, weather, he can handle it all with wit, intelligence and aplomb. How different many of the others are. I think GM is primarily a producer. She's been on Breakfast before. I didn't hear whether she stepped in at short notice perhaps? I think she's great and deserves a proper run.Comment
