Some Bill Evans for breakfast - marvellous. Where's the R3 prog - or even prom for that matter - exploring the relationship between some of the great jazz pianists and early 20thC jazzy types like Ravel and Debussy? That's what I want my licence fee funding...

For God's sake get rid of this thread Administrator. The same few people will soon be here making the same snide, cheap, sarcastic comments which serve no purpose whatsoever...

Courgette - I actually asked her to delete it, before anyone posted on it!

(couldn't see how to do it myself)

                      Merged because people had replied!
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

For the future, you can do it as follows to delete a thread you've started:-

                                1. At the bottom of the OP (opening post), click on "Edit".
                                2. Click on "Delete".
                                3. A display appears underneath with an option to delete the message. Click on "Delete message" an then on "Delete post".

Deleting the OP closes the thread.
