You could certainly get browned off doing that.

When I hear the comment "Thank you for your company" at the end of programmes", after reaching for the bucket, I wonder - are they just trying to be welcoming, or do they imagine we are stupid? On this morning's BBC2 Victoria Darbyshire programme, Naga Munchetti said "Thank you for your company" twice within the last 30 seconds of the programme - as she stared into the camera lens, the only person keeping her company being the camera operator. If a presenter met us in the street, would (s)he welcome our company, or would we be accused of stalking?

Thought I was going to have a Ponchielli ear worm today but fended it off with a dose of Beethoven's 2nd Concerto and the piano version of the Violin Concerto. Recommended antidotes!

                    Hello muddah, hello faddah?
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

At least Breakfast is easy to escape from.

Own up, you had secret information, didn't you, cloughie? Really, which one of your five will you guess has made it, announced today? (In fact, they probably took up your suggestion …)

No insider info honest - as JV already there must be one of the women - KD is probably the best known nationally - so the front runner!
