I had to smile the other day when during a quiz one of the presenters, I'm not sure which one it was, said the Is-Ley Brothers for the Isley Brothers. Clearly she does not know much about Tamla Motown. Another time on Classic FM some time ago its resident Beethoven expert and ex-newsreader said he hadn't heard of Sir John Stainer; but why should I be surprised.Last edited by Stanfordian; 12-11-14, 13:52.
