People may indeed be interested in this, in which case the appropriate time would be a programme designed for this kind of thing.

John Eliot's (fascinating and surprisingly charismatically expressed) views on JSB have already had a great deal of exposure on the BBC of late, so I'm not sure what an interview with CBH adds, but this was part of the BBC's collaboration with Hay, so I don't see what the problem is with programming or timing.

Programming has become so murky and the listings so vague that the only way to discover what is going on is to have Radio 3 switched on all the time, listening to the adverts/trailers.

Breakfast/Essential Classics/Saturday Classics/In Tune (all the same thing really) are so vague that anyone with a life will only access JEG et al if it's in a more accessible place like the one-time Music Magazine or a programme specifically for JEG.
