Priceless.
Not a boarder I assume.
Missed the start (he was called John at the end) but wondered if my radio was tuned to Radio 4extra and there was an episode of Monty Python on. The voice sounded like Graham Chapman in 'chartered accountant' mode..."...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Just listened to iPlayer (approx 2'07" in) and heard what you mean!
Would have been funnier still had Ms Burton-Hill been the 'presenter' so addressed
(For those that didn't / can't / won't - Ian S introduced the caller John who responded with 'Good morning Brian'... )"...the isle is full of noises,

Is it just coincidence ? PT's back this week, and I switch on and have to switch off instantly as there is some ghastly trite Classic-FM-standby bit of Verdi on. Last week, Ian Skelly's programme was on whenever possible with no such moments. Do the producers change too? Whatever, the gang on today (inc. PT) needs moving to "other duties""...the isle is full of noises,
