I meant that the 'joke' was Bryn's. Sorry.

I was thinking more generally, Domeyhead - I didn't mean you particularly. Sorry again.

That's a relief! I wasn't certain that it would have been better to have assumed it was an intended joke!
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

Actually, I attempted to keep scorers busily employed whilst playing for The Sunday Times, Fleet Street Strollers, Invalids, Surrey Young Amateurs & in occasional charity matches. But at work my partners & I make use of & commission media & market research all the time.

Made me laugh - particularly British SOH, perhaps.

Breakfast Show Specialist Classic Chart podcast still oddly not forthcoming.

Who should I write to to complain?

Shouldn't one be grateful for small mercies?

Probably EPNS - only the elite have silver plates...

Well, I am never disappointed at the low level that Breakfast and Clemmy can sink to on the show. At least it makes me get out of bed to put something else on.

An extra layer of clothing and the heating, perhaps - I can't help hearing the respective presenters' names as Clammy and Wet Rock. Brrrrrrrrrrrr....
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
                          Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Ha, ha, Caliban. I meant a CD. But love your thinking about another layer of clothes...
