Judging by what I heard this morning before turning to Radio 4, the day cannot be far off when the entire playlist is provided by the listeners. If the "Breakfast Show" has benefited from, or driven, the reported increase in Radio 3 listenership, then the proverbial writing is indeed on the proverbial wall.

But do see my and Russ's comments on the latest figures. The figures are not "up" in the general sense that they are steadily climbing (they have been higher than this). They are merely higher this quarter than they have been in certain other quarters.
