Thanks so much for this alert, bsp. I watched the first two acts last night and the third this morning. The singing and conducting (V. Jurowski) were top-notch, and the production (unexpectedly) excellent. The reduced orchestra boosted the woodwind and clarified textures, though the fewer strings lacked heft. What an enduring masterpiece this is!
