Just an alert for anyone equipped to receive the Euro TV station Arte - it is carrying the live telecast of Parsifal from Bayreuth today at 4.15pm BST. Also being broadcast to European cinemas (although the only UK cinema I can find is the Warwick Arts Centre).

I saw it in a cinema relay at the Warwick Arts Centre and was quite bowled over by it. There was a video glitch on the TV relay part way through Act 3 which wasn`t apparent in the cinema and which may well be cured by the time of the forthcoming commercial release.
