Has anyone listened to this? I’ve just caught up. I can’t judge the singing but I thought the ensemble was good. I had to depend on various references for the plot but it was a very interesting experience. It’s a live recording of a semi-staged performance by Claudio Cavina and La Venexiana

It's on my "LA" list. I'm rather concerned that, at 2 and 1/2 hours, it's not the complete Opera. Il Ritorno was previously broadcast on A on 3 in December 2010 - in another abridged version (from the previous Summer's Beaune Festival with the glorious Sara Mingardo). Is there any other major Opera that would be so treated?[FONT=Comic Sans MS][I][B]Numquam Satis![/B][/I][/FONT]
