Different to the televised concert - wigglesworth conducting but a lovely performance of Act 2 of Hansel and Gretel and now Act 2 of Boheme - VW Christmas music to follow.
I watched the live stream of this - a very enjoyable evening with bizarrely the entire company performing in pyjamas in front of a giant Christmas tree . Cut out of tonight’s relay is Roderick Williams very engaging performance as compère - we will get to hear him sing though.
