The MET cinema screening of the Flying Dutchman on Saturday will not now take place, as the MET has cancelled the performance in New York. If you've already got tickets booked, you'll probably get a refund from your venue.

I got an email this morning from the Times + offer ticket people to say that the Met have cancelled the performance and hence the cinema relay .

yes - just heard a trail - I wonder if it's one they recorded earlier ?

If they've already got recordings of earlier performances, they might release those to broadcasting companies round the world for use over the next few days - or in particular for the R3 Saturday slot. However the cinema screenings seem definitely to be off.
