    Otello, Royal Opera

Trivial though I may be, I cannot resist quoting ROH's latest genius piece of marketing hype, if only for the way it seamlessly segues into the final command:

When Iago vows to destroy Otello, he hatches a plot that has fatal consequences. With Otello's perceptions growing increasingly warped by jealousy, he decides that there is only one thing he can do... Buy tickets
I hope Otello gets himself a good front stall, and I very much look forward to his celebratory tweet after the 1st night.

I sometimes think Othello (not Otello) is so easily manipulated that even if he sat through a performance of his life story he’d still end up killing Desdemona.
