    It's somehow uncomfortable to think that ROH performances aren't what they used to be For a lot of us they are still The Home Team and deserve our support The QoS certainly hasn't put me off trying to get to a performance and I have already started saving up for a ticket to see Boris Godunov in the summer
    And the tune ends too soon for us all

      The Boris...is a Richard Jones production, so IT WILL BE GOOD. Jones is creative but always respectful toward the music. I'm glad his heyday has coincided with my own purple period for opera-going. I can't stand Terfel, but I'll be going for Jones (and Mussorgsky, of course).
