Next year's Opera North season has been announced:

For me, not very much to attract me in Winter (although if the Ravel and Janacek ever appear on the same bill, I'll be there like a shot). More in the "Easter Term" - given that it's Richard Farnes conducting, I shall even give A Masked Ball a go (I remain ever hopeful that my Verdi-deafness might one day be cured). And Salome in the Town Hall again (I saw this about ten years ago under Farnes - superb).

The 2017 Aldeburgh Festival brochure has just turned up, and the Opera North Billy Budd is getting another couple of outings there, in what is called a concert staging, on 24 and 25 June.
