Thank you all. Although I think Mr Tomlinson is getting a little mature for these roles, I enjoyed it very much and it makes a worthy addition to my archive (my 121st recording).Comment

I know that there's a bug which repeats words at the ends of lines, but I didn't know it attacked numbers too! I haven't had a chance to see 'Parsifal' at the ENO, but I wouldn't rush to get tickets: first of all, I dislike translations from the original into English, and Wagner should always be sung in German where possible. And much as I adore big John Tomlinson, I think his Gurnemanz in a foreign tongue was probably not a good idea. I have too many memories of his Wotan at Cov G under Uncle Bernie Haitink in the 90s, to make anything else appear second best.Comment
