The tenor Waldemar Kmentt has died at the age of 86. First came across his name in the Solti Das Rheingold from 1958. He must surely be the last singer on that set to pass away.

You may be right about her having been the last Rheingolder standing, as I can't find any details for Oda Balsborg (Woglinde).

A sad day indeed.
