Instead of the advertised live transmission from the Wigmore Hall we got a repeat of his Edinburgh Festival recital. Anyone know why?

My guess is a last minutes rights snag. Or technical. The recital apparently happened as there's a note on Fb from someone saying she was there at that moment (!) - listening to Ravel. Another comment saying 'it's not live - it's a repeat.' Didn't they make any announcement?It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world. -
Ian Skelly did explain. Trifonov had been unwell. Now recovered, but he asked the BBC not to broadcast him live as he was playing some of his programme for the first time.
