I have to admit Flossie, that I do love Brahms.

I rarely turn off any classical music, but I shall never again listen to Norrington attempting to conduct Elgar.

This Rattle Schubert 9 is surely the peak of awfulness. As Rob G would have it, 'absolutely terrible'.

Having listened to a particulalrly enjoyable edition of Discovering Music featuring Jelly Roll Morton I had to turn off The Choir as soon as it came on. An hour focussing on Gilbert and Sullivan - no thanks. Not even while I was doing the ironing!

Even those (whatever they are ), & probably 120, 121 & so on.

The assumption behind the question (I assume) is that one is listening to a programme like 'Breakfast' or 'Classical collection', when one might be ambushed by music one doesn't like. In that case I rarely turn it off - I just turn off my listening untill it's finished. If it's the afternoon or evening concerts I would check to see what's being played, & switch it on.

Like a well-known brand of Scottish chicken and vegetable soup?

                      Invariably, Bolero.

I'm afraid any leakage has to be put down to age.

(I don't think soup needs to be clarified ?)

yes, Bolero - unless I'm in a quite particular mood.

Other rapid turn-offs for me include - Respighi - Weill - Ella Fitzgerald - Einaudi and similar noodlings -

but above all - the Archers feem-toon ...
