    Anyway it was a very fine concert indeed which will long live in the memory. It was also yet another orchestra which I've seen Haitink conduct (must be getting up to a dozen by now).
    I am an Argerich fan but I should have been more than delighted to have heard Pires instead - she is a magician in Mozart IMO.

    That piano duet between her and Argerich on the recent Lugano set is spellbinding.

        Maria Pires has never failed to delight me - whether Chopin, Mozart, Beethoven or Schubert I find her playing exquisite
