Just been told by the Edinburgh Festival that Anna Larsson has had to withdraw from the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra’s Mahler Symphony No 2 concert at the Usher Hall on Monday 12 August. Gerhild Romberger will be replacing her. Don't know if the Proms performance will be affected.

Well, I don't know if this one prompted your post about not starting threads prematurely, ff, but I thought I'd give a heads-up about a possible change, as the BRSO is performing the Mahler 2 at the Proms as well as at the EIF.If I'd waited until the 'official' thread appeared I'd probably have forgotten about it
