    It was 10 minutes until recently, but they seem to have relaxed this just lately. There are lots of entire symphonies in 4-6 parts of between 10 and 20 minutes. I downloaded a lovely high-definition Mahler 3 by Jansons/RCO in 8 parts, for example. And in Dolby surround sound, too! It's at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qmVOP...eature=related et seq.

      Sinopoli live, at least, had a great tendency to take pieces apart and then not put them completely back together again. I recall, in my opinion, were willful Bruckner and Elgar rendition.s Some of the recordings arevery fine indeed, Mendelssohn 4/ Schbert 8 on DG for example.
