Rossini /Sigismondo from Rossini Festival 2010

Today( 6 Feb) as a change from the weekly relay from the New York Met, I listened to the recording of Rossini,s late work "Sigismondo" with the wonderfully full throated Mezzo,Daniella Barcellona , in the title role as Sigismondo, and partnered by Antonio Siragusa (bass) as Ladislao with Choir & Orchestra of the Teatro Bologna cond by Michele Mariotti. this was recorded at the Rossini Festival in Pesaro in August 2010. The Orchestra itself was in fine form with Rossini,s music, and the whole performance (in my opinion) was excellent, apart from a few glitches on the sound transmission via internet. It does inspire me to visit the Rossini Festival myself this year, hopefully maybe.
Has this Opera been performed in Uk recently ?

Thanks Pianorak. glad I read those reviews of previous Opera at the Rossini Festivals at Pesaro. Having never been there before, I might just have to jump in at the "deep end" so to speak, tickets permitting , and see/hear what happens at this years performances. If I dont like it, I can always catch the ferry from Pesaro to Split in Croatia, to attend the Music Festival there too. (travel time approx 4 hours)
