And talking of Contrabass clarinets, also may moons ago I attended the Clarinet and Saxophone Society's annual Summer School, at which a quartet of Contrabass clarinets was assembled. They called themselves "The Contrapotamus Quartet" and two of the players were Paul Harvey and Chris Gradwell. Their rendition of the "Pink Panther" theme on those four intruments was...something else.....Patriotism is supporting your country all the time, and your government when it deserves it.
