If Jackie was still alive and young they would have her running along a beach, holding her cello aloft, as she often did!

Taking the question somewhat literally, it seems as though the original is a little different.

Is it not Bach at all, but 6 of my 12 note pop tunes transcribed for Violin and played on a beach?

Should it be 'solo violin', rather than 'violin solo'? Sounds better to my ears, anyway.

That dress should be cut to at least a couple of inches above the knee, and she should be facing somewhat askew, and perhaps even bending over slightly. I'm currently underwhelmed by her approach.

              Jenkins knows the score:

I notice that the KJ CD that Donnie linked to is called the 'ultimate collection'. Is that a promise? There won't be any more?

With such a stance, she ought to have between her legs an instrument capable of giving pleasure to thousands. Unfortunately, it seems to have shrunk in the wash. This perhaps explains her expression of unequivocal indignation, which rather puts me in mind of Charlotte Corday.

The last time I saw someone standing in such a posture was in Oxford Circus underground station some thirty five years ago and I was about to be punched in the face.

If we are talking about the sonatas and partitas for solo violin (BWV 1001–1006), could it be that there are neither six sonatas nor six partitas in the set? It actually consists of three sonatas da chiesa, each in four movements, and three partitas, in dance-form movements. The use of the definite article certainly confuses the issue.

Apart from that is she old enough to be called Lara ? And would she really dress for church like that ? I really have no idea.

                            This is Fowler, 2nd edition:

"Abbreviations are chiefly made in two ways: one by giving the beginning of the word in one or more letters and then stopping, the other by dropping out some portion of the middle. Those of the first kind are rightly ended with a period, but the common practice of doing the same to the second is ill advised.

"Abbreviations are puzzling, but to puzzle is not their purpose, and everything that helps the reader to guess their meaning is a gain. One such help is to let him know when the first and last letters of the abbreviation are also those of the full word, which can be done by not using the period, but writing wt (not wt.) for weight, Bp (not Bp. for bishop, Mr (not Mr.) [...]"

{Thus, I'm assured, Reverend is abbreviated as Rev. or Revd)
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

It's as cheap and shoddy a bit of album art as I've seen in a long time. That courier-esque font is dreadful and there's no shading or vginetting to add some depth to the image.

I don't know how minor this artist is but this is desktop production at it's worst.

This pandering to market forces alarms me more and more. I fully expect soon to attend a recital where a slim, semi-clothed young lady cavorts on stage and assumes postures of an indelicate nature with a fifth-rate instrument while the violinist, in reality a bald, fat gentleman of advanced age, plays a Bach sonata behind a screen.
