I've recently been learning his symphonies,most recently no.5. Haven't heqard any of his other stuff yet. Can you get them on Naxos?

I have recordings of all his symphonies and one or two other works and they fascinating and rewarding. I admit to not knowing the Quartets at all, must investigate at some point soon. Henze seems to be another victim of RW as his music isn't broadcast much at all these days, certainly not compared with a few years ago!

Saw no.9 live! Went to see Henze for the composer portrait. The "Alexi Sayle" of music.
