And what a feat for Sir Colin, who must be 84 and not all that well. Did he seem to be better than he has been recently, or was he too far away to tell?

Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Well, I have been told, from the inside, that, although Sir Colin is not as active, bodywise now than he was, his mind is. Ther LSO love him and and really look after him, making suire he doesn't over do it. His family have an awful lot of inpout to when he goes there.Don’t cry for me
I go where music was born

Resurrection Man
Listening to it now on iPlayer and find the opening tempo so soporific as to be unlistenable by these ears. Will persevere but somehow think I will be giving it a miss.
