    The Aurora Tonight 13th March

No, not that Aurora. Don't catch cold standing out in the garden, looking North.

    The Aurora Orchestra

    Live on 3 at 7.30.

I'm told they are pretty good. (Not so sure about the programme. It looks a trifle bitty to me, but judge for yourselves; as will I.)

I heard the pieces written by the finalists in the 2011 BBC Inspire Competition when they were played in a Pre-Prom Concert at the Royal College of Music. Hearing such adventurous music coming from 12 to 18 year olds was very humbling.

The Aurora Orchestra and their conductor Nicholas Collon are an excellent young ensemble.
