The Lunchtime Concert Monday 13th Feb

    .
Did something strange happen at today's Wigmore Hall concert? I'm not sure of the exact time (around 1.40, maybe) but I happened to catch the presenter rather desperately (though very capably) filling space with extended biographies of the performers, and the next time I was by the radio we were back in BH even though it was well before the scheduled end of the broadcast. I hope all was well.

the first violinist developed a nosebleed towards the end of the first movement of the Bartok, causing a delay, but he returned later, suitably "plugged"

I'm afraid Bartok has that sort of effect on me - or would have done in this case had I not turned off after the first movement. I enjoyed the Haydn very much, however.
